- Promote connectivity and automation with external managers/custodians; reduce manual channels; monitor transmission quality and completeness.
- Own financial and human resource planning: workforce sizing, talent acquisition, skilling plans, succession, and budget management.
- Sponsor continuous improvement: automation, data quality, controls uplift, and incident prevention; lead post-cycle reviews and remediation roadmaps.
- Control-focused mindset with strong analytical capability Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement sustainable solutions in a risk-sensitive environment.
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality Able to operate independently while knowing when to escalate or collaborate
- Foster a culture consistent with BNY principles; mentor leaders (SVP/VP) and teams; drive inclusion, engagement, and performance.
- Champion automation and digital transformation Promote adoption of digital tools, data-driven solutions and AI-enabled capabilities to reduce manual touchpoints and enhance operational resilience.
- Lead a proactive control framework with daily oversight checks, aging/materiality-based escalations, incident management, and monthly KPI packs.
- Oversee change/events: mergers, liquidations, master-feeder flows, in-specie transfers, write-offs, intercompany activity; ensure post-event reconciliations
